Genshin Impact unveils new 5-star anemo character, Mizuki in version 5.4
HoYoverse has officially announced Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4.

Following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, Genshin Impact will take players back to Inazuma in Version 5.4. The main event of this update will be set in Inazuma and will revolve around yokai (Japanese spirits or demons), featuring the return of Yae Miko.
Mizuki has been a subject of speculation and leaks for some time. The Version 5.4 beta has confirmed that Mizuki will be the first Inazuman 5-star character to be added to the standard banner. She wields a catalyst and has a support-oriented playstyle, focusing on boosting Elemental Mastery. Many players consider Mizuki an enhanced version of Sucrose with added healing capabilities.

"Hmm, how to describe this old friend of mine... Well, she's an intriguing one, but 'cute' isn't exactly the word I'd go for. Being the finest clinical psychologist in all of Inazuma, she has a remarkable talent for reading others' minds. Yet when… pic.twitter.com/OUXHqjAQ7Z
Despite previous rumors suggesting she was a "tapir yokai," official information reveals Mizuki to be a psychologist and the owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Mizuki is also said to be an old acquaintance of Yae Miko, and she will likely play a significant role in the Version 5.4 main event. Furthermore, Mizuki will have her own story quest in this update.
The banners for Mizuki and Wriothesley are expected to appear in the first half of Version 5.4, followed by Furina and Sigewinne's banners in the second half. After Version 5.4 concludes, Mizuki will be added to the standard banner. Therefore, players aiming to maximize Mizuki's constellations should prioritize obtaining her during this initial banner period. It is also advised to prioritize acquiring Mizuki's signature weapon from the weapon banner.
Compared to Version 5.3 with its substantial content additions, Version 5.4 is relatively smaller in scale. It features only one new character, a single story quest, no new artifact domains, and no map expansions. Consequently, the number of Primogems players can earn in this version will be reduced. Therefore, players planning to wish for Mizuki or other characters in Version 5.4 should start saving Primogems now.
