Kane still seeking elusive major trophy

Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham hoping to finally get his hands on a major trophy. The England captain made an impressive start to life in the Bundesliga, finishing as the league's top scorer. However, Bayern surprisingly ended the season empty-handed.

Following the 2023/24 club season, Kane and England reached the final of the Euros but again fell short.

This season, Bayern Munich have already been knocked out of the German Cup. However, Kane can still hope to win the Bundesliga title with Bayern.

Speaking to France Football, Kane said: “So far I have only won individual trophies like top scorer or best player. I start every season with the goal of winning trophies and I am not satisfied with just winning individual awards.

“I am only 31 years old. I think the best version of Harry Kane is yet to come. I am very confident about this and confident that the second half of my career will be full of trophies. When I hang up my boots, this will no longer be a topic of discussion.”

Bayern Munich are currently in a tight race for the Bundesliga title with Leverkusen. Bayern currently hold a one-point lead over Leverkusen with a game in hand.
