Mbappe advised to strike a better balance between confidence and humility

After struggling for almost half of his first season at Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe is gradually showing his adaptation to the environment in Spain and has left his mark in important victories for Los Blancos.

Witnessing the outstanding performance of his junior, Emmanuel Petit, the former French player, affirmed that Mbappe can make critics change their minds, and advised him to be humble to focus on improving his performance.

In a recent interview, Petit shared: "Kylian Mbappe can certainly silence the critics if he wins La Liga. At PSG and the French national team, he had to shoulder the responsibility of being the leader of both teams. However, joining Real Madrid, who won La Liga and the Champions League last year, is not easy. 1

However, step by step, Mbappe is improving and gradually stabilizing. There are also off-field issues, but it seems they are about to be resolved. Before, he had too much presence on social media, but now, he should be more humble and less talkative, focusing on his form at Real Madrid. His passion to be the best is evident, and he has the ability to shine."

Playing alongside the world's top attacking stars, Mbappe still shows his own mark and is currently a pillar in Los Blancos' squad. The French superstar has scored 14 goals and four assists in 26 appearances in all competitions, and has won two titles in his first season in Madrid.

Soon, the 2018 World Cup champion could lift his third trophy with Los Blancos as the team has reached the Spanish Super Cup final to face rivals Barcelona. In the El Clasico match in October last year, Mbappe and his teammates suffered a bitter defeat at the Bernabeu, and this is a great opportunity for Carlo Ancelotti's team to have a sweet "revenge".

The Spanish Super Cup final will take place at 2:00 am on January 13th.
